How to add a Delivery Server?

  1. Navigate to Delivery > Delivery Servers > Add Delivery Server
  2. Choose the Email service provider you would like to use for sending.
  3. Name this delivery server: Give a name for the delivery server. This is for your easy identification. This name will not be used anywhere in the email content that we send.
  4. Credentials: Depending on the Email Service Provider selected, you have to input the credentials that we use to connect with the ESP for sending emails.
The following help documents explain how to get the credentials or API Key from your Email Service Provider accounts.

    Amazon SES Twilio SendGrid
    Mailgun ElasticEmail
    Sparkpost
  5. Sender address: This option is not mandatory. Using this option, you can configure a specific sender address (From address) to use for any emails sent via this delivery server. In other words, enabling this option will force all emails to use the configured address as from address by replacing any from address set in create campaign. The email address you configure here is typically the address you have authorized to send in the target email service provider.
  6. Quota configuration: Using this option you can specify how many emails should be sent every hour, every day, every month using this delivery server.
When the specified count for hourly or daily or monthly quota is reached, depending on the Delivery Route setting, further emails will be either kept in queue for quota to become available or will be sent using other delivery server.
Quota reset will happen based on the account's timezone.
  7. Pause time configuration: Using this option you can configure what amount to time we should pause before sending the next email. Use this configuration to rate limit emails being pushed to the target ESP like Amazon SES, etc. As an example, if you specify 2000, before pushing every email we will wait for 2 seconds (1 second = 1000 milliseconds)
  8.  On clicking save, delivery server will be added in PAUSED state. You can change to ACTIVE state once the email deliverability is verified by sending a test email. All the necessary webhooks will be automatically registered with the email service provider. Webhooks are the medium which we use to process the bounces, complaints.
